Bill Madin

Our president Bill Madin died at home on November 2nd 2006.
His funeral was on Thursday 9th November at 11.30am at St Peters Church, Holymoorside.
The collection was for Ashgate Hospice and raised over 700 pounds.

 

COMMEMORATION DVD

There are 16 chapters all about 3-5 minutes long. It begins in 1941 with a bit of history and is immediately followed with the cutest chapter of all which has been prepared in secret with the cooperation of some of the senior members. There is a chapter from 1997 with Bill and John singing together and a tribute to Bill with us singing kumbayah at Christmas 2006. There are also more pictures from the archives and excerpts from some of our soloists. It costs £10.00 and will be available at choir on Thursday 22nd February 2007.
